The Feral Housewife's Guide toLiving Authentically, Creatively, & IntentionallyIssue #87 || September 26, 2025 || Previous issuesβ β Hey Reader, β Remember that "imaginary" beach trip we took last week where we had to enjoy every bit of the journey? Well, I lived it. I also had to take my own advice. Not stress about the packing, the driving, how SHORT one week at the beach is. And here I am, soaking up every second of the last day of where I BELONG. β I'm about to head out from our rental to soak up sand, waves, and sun. In the meantime, I will share a poem I wrote. I was sitting on the deck facing the ocean thinking about why I love the beach so much. And what the beach represents to me. Hope you enjoy the poem. β The Lost SecretEverything about this place Echoes, undeniably, The thought, the one wish Of mankind. The secret is woven everywhere Hidden in plain sight If only one sees With the longing of the soul. β Here, of all places, I cannot stop the soul From longing for it. β I shut my eyes tight But the crashing, bubbling waves Roar it over and over again. β I can pretend I don't hear But the eyes, not forcibly, But of their own accord (and with pleasure) Search for it Where the sky and ocean graze With every shade of blue, With every sunrise and sunset, I cannot help but comprehend it. β I turn away to walk Which direction? Does it matter? I defy it anyway. I walk north but the destination I seek Is never closer. How many lifetimes would I need To reach its origin or its end? β I dig my toes deep in sand Its texture rich, rough. It holds secrets too. It mocks, "Do you dare to count me?" β βI belong here,β the soul whispers Then shouts, then cries, Then resigns. β I return every year, In the hopes that soon I will not be at odds That I too, one day, Will have a secret of my own. β With Love, Creativity, & Intention, Anna P.S. The Feral Housewife's Guide to Living Authentically, Creatively, & Intentionally Issue #91 || October 24, 2025 || Previous issues Hey Reader, I don't know about you, but lately even the simple things in life seem heavy. No matter what I take off my plate to "simplify" it just creates a vacuum in which other things gladly get sucked in. Empty a space and sure enough it's an invitation for everything to fill it in. No thanks! I dream of long days of quiet solitude and warmth. I dream of hours...

The Feral Housewife's Guide to Living Authentically, Creatively, & Intentionally Issue #89 || October 10, 2025 || Previous issues Hey Reader, Why do certain childhood memories seem to pop up out of nowhere? Do they mean something? Or are they random, unpredictable clips that surface the way movie quotes or song lyrics do? I don't think they're random. I believe they're clues to our inner worldβpointing us toward the deeply held beliefs and stories we formed about ourselves when we were...
